Nov 4 1875 Jefferson Co, AR. My fingers got carried away typing on the last line. Catherine "Katie" McCall died in Jefferson Co, TENNESSEE not Arkansas. I have also seen a number of references to "Katie" being born in Scotland in 1798. At this point I place more faith in her being born July 20 1795 in NC. That information was published on page 262 of "Chestnut Hill: A Chronicle 1783-1986". I have also seen references to James being born in Surry Co, NC as well as Lufty Cove, Cherokee Co, NC, however, I currently use Richmond Co, NC as his place of birth. Ron
