Mar 31 1999 Family Group Sheet Husband: Stanton Rainwater ------------------------------------------------------------------- Wife: Eva Tarter Married: in: 1 ------------------------------------------------------------------- Maiden name shown as "Tarler" on Peter's birth record. ------------------------------------------------------------------- M Child 1 P M Rainwater Born: May 01 1853 in: 1 Died: Jun 11 1913 in: 1 Buried: in: Tarter-Hudson Cemetery, Pulaski Co, KY 1 -------------------------------------------------------------------- M Child 2 Peter C Rainwater Born: Sep 12 1859 in: KY probably Casey Co 2 -------------------------------------------------------------------- Notes: 1 Cemetery Records Vol 2 Pulaski Co, KY page 320 2 Vital Records Index North America, CD6, FHL#216820 Marion County borders Casey County on the northwest and Pulaski County borders Casey County on the southeast so all of this is in the right part of KY for your Stanton. There were quite a few Rainwater families in Pulaski County through out the 1800's and Stanton probably belongs to one of them, but I didn't find him listed on the census records for 1850-1900 census. You might try looking for him in Marion or Casey counties. Hope this little bit of data is helpful. Ron Recer Edmond, OK
