It lists RAINWATER, James T., Sept 27 1836 - March 7, 1905 RAINWATER, Susan E., May 25, 1840 - June 22, 1912. How about church records? With two preachers in the family, I bet there are some church records somewhere. Have you tried for Civil War Records? He was the right age to have served from Georgia.
