Bob Hi..here is another family bible I found at WWW.ebay.com once again I have nothing to do with seller or anything, just want it to go to it's family..just type in family bible in the search area.. Terri The great news is that the BINDING AND PAGES ARE TIGHT AND THE COVERS ATTACHED!! Hand written inside the front cover is "Presented to Elizabeth A. Williams by her father, Essex (CT) July 15, 1856." Between the old and the new testament are 4 decorated border family pages. The first entry on the first page notes the marriage of Elizabeth Williams to Alfred H. Pratt on September 24, 1856. There are three other marriages recorded, several births and several deaths. Other surnames recorded are Hendley and Perry. This family resided in the Essex-Clinton Connecticut area. We truly hope that this Bible will find a new home with a member of this family, a genealogist. --part0_922591714_boundary--
