Hi Paula, Just a short note-Nancy is age 60 in 1850 and as you say she is in the home of her son Silas M.(he's not named in the final settlement papers for Miles in 1840-nor is he named in the sketch on Miles' background). Nancy,more than likely, is buried with the rest of her family in Wesley Chapel Methodist Church Cem,Fayette Co.,Ala in an un-marked grave. I'm sure the church is still in existence-why don't you write. I'm not sure how far back they keep their records or if they've already deposited them in the Methodist Archives.
