He had 7 children by Genetta: all bn Casey Co.,Ky 1-James Christopher-bn 3 Apr 1860 2-Miles Evan-bn 14 May 1863 3-Margaret Ellen-bn14 May 1867 4-Charles Thomas-bn 24 June 1870 5-William-bn 11 Sep 1873 6-Henry T.-bn15 Jan 1877 7-Mary Jane-bn 10 Sep 1879 Between Sep 1879 and 1883 John and Genetta divorced and he married Rhoda Ann (Cole) Brown. Their children: bn Adair Co.,Ky 1-Charles R.-bn Apr 1884 2-Martha A-bnJun 1885 3-Harison-bn May 1889 4-Scott-bn 4 Nov 1890 5-Dink-bn Jul 1894 (not sure what his real name was) 6-Alfred-bn Aug 1899 7-Noah L. (he's not on the census that I've been able to find.However he is named in his father's pension records with Alfred-both minors with guardian- G.Wolford) (payment record #833299 and 858031-up until 10 Mar 1818 evidently when Noah became of age.)
