My records show Nancy Edwards, wife of as Miles, was the daughter of William Edwards not Isaac. Source probably came from the same Bible record Joseph Lambert quoted. Also makes sense because the Rev. Isaac Edwards who was old enough to be her father died in 1808, Franklin Co GA. He could not have signed the documents. Probably the Isaac Edwards signing the guardian papers was her brother. I don't have a death date for William Edwards, her father. The last record I have of him is the 1820 Census in Spartanburg. My line is through Nancy's sister Elizabeth, wife of John Yarborough. Any help on early Edwards records would be greatly appreciated. Looking hard for Edward Edwards.
