Hi All My husbands line is Rainwater that is why I am on this group. so time I print letters I think he may be interested in for him. He ask me to answer one from Don Pruitt, here it is. Hello Don Re: the Folmer Charts - about 25 years ago I received the chart from a Rainwater in (I believe Dandridge Tenn. ) I have since forgotten his name it could have been Charles, he was about 86 at the time. The chart was about 2ft by 3ft. I am the one who sent Terrell Rainwater a copy he then added his line to the chart, that was in 1976. After studing the chart for more than 20 yrs I have come to the conclusion that some of it is correct but most was only guess work. I agree with Bob that Robert Rainwater was an adult in 1706, he might have been 20 to 30 yrs old, making him born ab 1676 to 1686. No one knows for sure when the lst John was born so if Robert got married ab 1706 John born 1707 was very possible. I do not think there has been much if any research done in the Hogan Creek area, if so I have not heard of it. My people came from the Mt Airy area N.C to Tenn then AR to MO to OR then to Washington. Gold is where you find it. If I were you I would go for it. Good Luck & Happy Hunting Lyle James Rainwater Please keep me informed Note from Me (Barjrain) The information in the LDS Ancestral file is incorrect on my husbands line. He shared some info with someone who was doing a booklet for a family reunion and there was a missing link beyond James b May 1, 1811 and the person changed birthdates so James could be connected back to John and Mary Fussell Lyle has the family bible of John Kiefer Rainwater and we have information from the cemetery (We were there) in Dayton Washington, where James was buried. Also don't give up on Robert Albert he had a death in the family and hasn't been very active in research lately. I hope I did this right so that everone can read it I haven't done this before.
