Pertaining to Hal Irving's message (below). He mentioned Silas Mercer Rainwater. From what I have been able to determine, Silas lived in Lamar/Fayette/Marion counties Alabama the rest of his life. The list of his children seems rather elusive. Anyone have a list of them to share ? (2nd Company 14th Brigade Rifleman, War of 1812 Moses Rainwater no dates (Johnson Co Tax Rolls) Female Rainwater (perhaps Alcy who marr John Bowles, Bertie Co., NC Female Rainwater no dates.......
