I am looking for information on Mary Rainwaters who was married to John Jordan. I have a copy of a marriage document from Morgan Co., Ala. which states they were married 13Dec1837. According to the 1850 census she was born about 1822. My grandfather stated that his grandmother's maiden name was Tilda Rainwaters and that she was an orphan. One census lists her as Mary M., leading me to think her name may have been Mary Matilda. Was wondering if anyone might have something about her? David L. Hoffpauir
