    3. How lucky you are to have a daddy for your John Rains! Most of us cannot find daddys for our ancestor born around that time. I believe if I could find Patsey Raines daddy (she was b. 1795 Randolph Co. N.C.) after hunting him for 27 years, I would throw a party and invite ALL RAINS/ RAINS/ REINS/ REINES RAYNES (and any other way we find to spell it!). You are so lucky. So, in the meantime, While you are out there searching for your Henry, if you find an old North Carolinian born abt. 1744-45 anywhere and he is hunting for his 2nd great grandaughter named Mary, please tell him where to find me. He misses me!! Love and hope to allau cousins!
