Robert, Thanks again for explaining about the deeds and the children in the census for George Rains. Now this is the elder George that was married to Rosannah Graham that you mentioned went to Warren Co TN.? Did he die there? Both Asahel and His son George died there. Liz, As best I can find out George died there also and after his death Asahel lived in his home. It is hard to separate out these children after they went to Tn., but the last of them went TN, and some not liking it there moved on. Some settled in Ohio and then IN. while others went west.
