Mary, this book starts in RCNC. J. Floyd Bullock tried to get back to Caroline County, VA. but could not. He had the same trouble that we have today. He discusses the Rainsmen of RCNC. He takes his and my 4g-gf , Lawrence Rains, to Ohio. Then it goes across the top of the U.S. to Missouri, Iowa, and Texas. There are only a few Texas Rain(e)s in the book simply because there were not that many of this line. Actually only two brothers came into Texas. So now my gf line is almost dead. I am the youngest male decendant and the last of our line in Texas. So to be kin to other Rain(e)s Ihave to go back to NC and go South.
