I did see the mention of Henry Sr's will in the Rains archives. Do you know who Ignatius married? Her name was Ann or Nancy from Amherst Co deeds. Who were his children - I only have Olivia who married 1786 Henry Gatewood. (She named a son Ignatius Rains Gatewood.) Who the rest of his children were? Did he leave a will in Georgia? I would be glad for basically anything, as I have not had a chance to really look for info since I decided that he most likely is her father. I only tracked him on Amherst Co tax lists 1783-91. But no other Rains in the county. Then I ran out of time. Thank you for any help. Mabry Benson
