Delores after a few thoughts this Robert could be the son of Robert who is believed to be one of the five Rains men who came to Randolph Co., N.C. in 1772 and if so he was on the Census of that County in 1790 with as many children as his father. You might take a look at him. I guess though he might have been to young at that time to be having that many children. Just another Robert I'll keep looking at more Robert's.
