By 1830 they had settled in Walker Co where they remained the rest of their lives. Their children,all born in Ala bt 1819-1841 were: William Bailey married Elizabeth Kennymore Francis married Byrd Garland Cole James married Sarah Best [after his death in 1860s she married Wm. Ford] Allen married Lucinda Robbins [died in Cw] Hiram 1st married Phebe???2nd Aseneth Adeline Abbott Milla[nothing found on her after 1860 census] Margaret Ann [Peggy] married Wm Washington Abbott Massa J. married James Mullins Milla died in 1843 and is buried in the Sardis Cem in Walker co. James married again in 1861 to Susan ??;she had 1 son John born 1845 that is listed as Raines on the 1870 census. James and Susan had 3 children Sylvania married John Newton Pate Sinthia married Robert Williams[her half-sisters Rebeccas son] Lucinda married Wm Best James died in 1870s . have not located any records of Susan after his death .she may have remarried as she was 47 when he died. All 4 of James"s Sons were in the Civil war.
