Liz, In Randolph Do., N.C. in Deed book 11 page 198 and book 11 pages 255 and 256 you will find all of George's children named and it shows what they received. Neither the father or mother are mentioned in these deed. George had gone to Warren Co., TN. and it is believed but not proven that the mother had died. Joab was born 8/12/1770 and Asahel 5/5/1772. All of these children were born before 1790 census, because George on the 1790 census had seven Sons and one daughter.
