Sue, you have hit the nail right on the head. George Rains b.7/26/1769 married Amy McManus in Randolph Co.,NC. in 1792. He married 2nd Nancy (Harber?). According to my records Charlotte was the last child of George and Amy. George is my 4g-gf's nephew. My 4g-gf ,Lawrence, married Ann McManus abt. 1785. Amy and Ann are sisters.
