My own Joseph Wesley Ragan was born in about 1806 in NC... he married Rachel T. Turner daughter of William Dillard Turner and Priscilla Ursula Thomas...she was the sister to Catherine Gaines Turner, b. 1813, Dickson County, TN. Joseph and his wife later moved to Texas County, MO, where it appears that Rachel died, he later remarried and moved to Izard County, AR, he is buried in Arkansas. This makes me wonder if all of these Ragan's in Dickson County, TN are related. Can anyone find any proof that they are? Judy Swan and I haven't been able to and it is frustrating.
