    3. I don't know about Caswell it's Bute I have and it's 1777 to take Fankln from But to relieve Bute of it's duties to too many folk. Thompson, Bell, Riggan , Harton etc are on that one. Among those 300 men are the names of John Ragon Sen' and John Ragon Jur'. The copy of the transcription I have the names are not alphabetized but, ,the surnames of family members are listed as a group. The two Ragons are listed together. These may not father and son as I understand that it was common practice if two men were of the same name the older would also be listed as "Senior, and the younger as "Junior. James H.     3. If James the son of Wm Powell R, married Jane Dickson and had at least 4 sons, Thomas being #4, could we speculate whom the other 3 might be? They would start out, at least, in McMinn TN. James died there in 1843. Anyone?

    3. William Bolding on 1 Dec 1727 purchases or is granted 100 acres in Bertie Dist of NC on the N.side of the Morattock River joining Joseph Regginsand Daniel Reggins. I have for Francis and Jane Riggins 2 sons (among others) I have Daniel dead in 1727 Bladen Co( not yet created, we have had this argument) and Joseph dead in 1727 Bertie Co. ( and dad Francis dead in 1727 Surry VA. Boy, that potato salad was a killer) Daniel, I guess, could have been Bertie...? Both men are dead by this survey, and both left sons Daniel and Joseph respectively. If this is not Daniel son of Daniel/d1727, in Bertie...who is he?
