Charles md to Zellah may be Peters brother. I have found Rigen, Tegue 41 List of Debts of David Lensey dec'd Somerset Co., MD 1681 ( Actually, it is this tidbit that allows us to date the birth of Teague. Yes, the is Teague Riggin married to Mary London...MCH) (Must be Teague Riggin b. 1640/45 Irleand, d. 1707 Somerset MD) Jul 1723 Somerset Co., MD, taxables of Anomesex Hundred, two familar surnames Thomas Linsey ( I have to leave ( antique show), but remind me to hit my MD database for the Lindseys) John Rigen (s/o Teague Riggen?) ( No, the Anamessex crowd was Darby's, presumed brother of Teague. He married Elizabeth Cutler and had 4 kids. ) 18 Nov 1726 Stafford VA/Charles Co., MD >From Elijah Wood of Stafford VA to Thomas Sanders of CC...all that parcel of land called LINDSEYS purchase lying on the north side of Potomack River & on the west side of a Cr of said river formerly called Portobacco Cr... Note that Joan Ragon (widow of James)md John Wood Jr, brother of Elijah Wood. John Ragon was a test. of John Wood Sr. Was Charles & Somerset Co., MD close together? Originally there was just Somerset. Welcome to the Chesapeake...anything I can reach with a small boat is fair game. There are stores on both shores that carry accounts for folks all over... makes the marriages fun to figure. Also makes the VA mainland neighbors of the whole Peninsula. I just found the following: Warren Co, North Carolina will book 7: will of Joseph Lindsey, 5 March1793;Nov Ct 1794. Names Wife Rachael; Sons Laban and Caleb(extr);Dtrs; Rebecca Ragan, Mary Hartgrove Searcy,Zellah Ragan, Milly Thurman, Darkas Lindsey,Sarah Lindsey, and fanny Watkins. (co Extr)friend Dennis Paschal. Wit Anderson Paschal (Jurat), Mary Paschal, and Denis Paschal (L) (Jurat) (Court, I know Virginia told you to keep an eye out for Paschals...call and ask her why) Please note that the Lindseys had two Ragan daughters ! If you could locate the geography of these in-law names, you'd have a chance of pinning Charles to a family-name cluster that arrived together. BTW, I have a fellow researcher on the Teague R line who uses a geo-locator program that we didn't need in MD's Eastern Shore because there is so much water you can pinpoint easily. But , I sure could see the use of such a program here...anyone use one ?
