    3. Maryellen, Daniel Riggins of 1 Dec 1727 Bertie is possibly Daniel Sr living near his brother Joseph, instead of Daniel Jr. Daniel Sr died sometime after 27 Nov 1727 & bef 1728 (administrative account date). He could have still been alive in 1 Dec 1727. If Daniel Jr was b. 1710/12 he would have only been 15/17 yrs of age, not of legal age to own land. Daniel is the s/o Daniel Regan (Sr) whose will written 27 Nov 1727 BERTIE NC In his will he lists he gives to his son DANIEL "my plantation..." Administrative account: 1728 Bertie Co., NC -----Original Message----- From: Maryellen Horrigan Sent: Saturday, September 15, 2007 1:07 PM To: ragan-roots@rootsweb.com Subject: [RAGAN-ROOTS] Joseph and Daniel William Bolding on 1 Dec 1727 purchases or is granted 100 acres in Bertie Dist of NC on the N.side of the Morattock River joining Joseph Regginsand Daniel Reggins. I have for Francis and Jane Riggins 2 sons (among others) I have Daniel dead in 1727 Bladen Co( not yet created, we have had this argument) and Joseph dead in 1727 Bertie Co. ( and dad Francis dead in 1727 Surry VA. Boy, that potato salad was a killer) Daniel, I guess, could have been Bertie...? Both men are dead by this survey, and both left sons Daniel and Joseph respectively. If this is not Daniel son of Daniel/d1727, in Bertie...who is he? ------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to RAGAN-ROOTS-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message
