I just ran across a 2000 note wherein a Ragan researcher was speculating that the father of a Stephen Ragan was the brother of Spencer Ragan. He then goes on to say that he is looking for an Eli Ragan who disappears from the records of Lexington, Fayette Co about the same time that Stephen disappears in about 1810.
