    2. While I don't have those files and wished I did, I do understand your question about Ireland and possible Nordic connections. That is a possibility as the Danes and Vikings did both trade and war in Ireland as they did in so many places in the British Isles. Many of us of English, Scottish and Irish heritage may well also be part of the Nordic gene pool. I know that my Johnson and Pilgrim (surname) do have connections to the Danes because of their warring and settling in East Anglia in England. I don't know if any of the family of Joseph Wesley Ragan male line would be interested in doing a DNA on the surname or not. I would love to see what comes up from a DNA on the Ragan surname from my line....but it only works for the males, hence I am not to do one as I am female. Are there any Ragan males who would be interested and willing to do one? Just a thought. We might be able to narrow down the number of different lines in the US from Ireland and or Scotland.
