I do believe it is possible for Charles-2 to have Jemima (b. by abt 1727) as his daughter. She md George Oliver 1745 and she and her two possible brothere James & John were all in Rowan & Gulford NC. Jane whose birth has not been recorded or found may be the d/o Wm & Bridget. But she was not mentoined in Wm's 1747 estate settlement as was the surviving children Powell, Kezial, Elizabeth. But Jane did marry in 1746 a yr earlier if that makes a difference. Tell me more abt the Charles of 1731 possible s/o John-2. Always interested in a Charles as I am trying to connect a Charles (Sr) of early Bute NC. Also are you saying that John-2/d. 1728 had a son John-3 who died 1740? >From events/dates you gave John-2/Elizabeth X Wood had to have thier 4 or 5 children born bet 1714 & 1728.
