I am having my own mail rejected...microsoft  at work.. so there may be duplicates for a bit... sorry...M;ellen   James, Up until 1726, the birth of all children belonging to the man who dies in 1744 are referred to as XXX daughter/son of William and Elizabeth  Bridget Rgn... then, from 1726 onward, they become William and Bridget Rgn for Kiziah, Elizabeth and Bridget... I feel a change of clerk, not of women.   Holy Moley, I get it... It's the wife that died. Bridget, the daughter lives and has a child out of wedlock, Winifred, in 1744 just before William died, he is not listed because he is not the father. and the Bridget that died is not listed as daughter of, just died as they do for adults but not children...yeeeshhh. .. but Bridget's 11!
