Is there any info on the internet about that?In our family there is a rumor about one of the grandfathers being sent to america as a convict but I am not sure it comes from the Reagan line and not sure what it was for. All I have is a handwritten story from an older relative. She refers to him as Owen Ragon (the same name as my great grandfather and ggg grandfather) but she could well have been wrong. This was written back in the 30's if I remember right and she was elderly at the time. She waxes poetic about her wonderful husband etc., but come to find out she married her dead sister's husband which she doesn't even mention. I think, all in all, there is some truth to the story but it could have been embellished as time went on. I have just moved and am remodeling my new home. If, and when, I ever get things situated I will send you a copy of the story.
