M'ellen I have made a big mistake re: 1755 Bute tax list I was counting # of males head of HH in 1st column, minor males in 2nd column, females in 3rd column as a census. WRONG A tax List Correction: 1st colums # whites 2nd # blacks 3rd total # in HH John & Francis 2-0-2 2 whites 0 blacks 2 total # So both John & Francis are NOT married in 1755.
