James, talk to me about the Peter Ragan in 1800 SC census p.19 --  2 -1 -x -1 -x -1 -1- x -1 -x who is he?, where from? , where go? He is sitting on two of mine...  the Benj. Maddox on p. 19, and the  p. 18 Lewis Gant and probably the John Armstrong are mine...proven... Lewis Gant and many more were in 1790 Abbeville SC. I haven't looked for them in the 1810 yet BUT,  packs of Ragans, Gants and more assoc names are in Bedford TN in the 1820.  If anyone claims these are Timothy's bunch you're going to have to prove it. I have a lady on the board of the DAR proving committee that says otherwise. This is an old claim....as is the lady... I am trying to raise her. After 3 by-passes, I'm afraid to ask why she is not answering me. Sigh, M'ellen
