Friday morning April 16, 2010 Dear Rezin Ragan/Reagan descendants, I am enclosing the full text that I have submitted to RAGAN message board at Ancestry.Com. It is as follows: Donald B. Reagan, author of THE BOOK OF RAGAN/REAGAN, and unofficial Ragan/Reagan family historian. am now wonders about any person who have said to descend from Rezin Ragan/Reagan, son of Timothy and Mary Lary Ragan/Reagan in Anne Arundel County, Maryland. He is the one who married Anne. I truly suspects that he or she out there literally tooks it as their own lineage. Please check it out before you claim it as your own lineage. Okay? It is really I who share the data on the first Ragan/Reagan of Anne Arundel County, Maryland on the world wide web (or internet). But I did not show the wife of Rezin Ragan as "Anne Beaumont." Please retire that surname, Beaumont, from this family. Thank you. I have done research on this Rezin Ragan/Reagan, and it is almost complete. However, I am still researching on his sons and daughters families during the Revolutionary War period (1750 to 1800) and beyond. I have taken this task in order to bring back all different Ragan/Reagan data back together for this Rezin Ragan/Reagan. This Rezin Ragan/Reagan is really true "uncle" of my own direct ancestor, Timothy Ragan, who served in Revolutionary War from State of Maryland. My own Ragan/Reagan family have used that given name for four or five generations. It indicated to me that my Revolutionary War ancestor, Timothy Ragan must have real mutual love and respect for his uncle. This Timothy Ragan, Revolutionary War soldier, was the son of Timothy Ragan, Jr. and his wife Rachel? Nelson of Anne Arundel and Baltimore County, Maryland. He was the son of Timothy Ragan, Sr. and his wife Mary Lary, and was the brother of this Rezin Ragan / Reagan. Right now, I am still researching. You are most welcome to contact me. My email address is: dbrbear1949@comcast.net Lastly, I am wishing each one of you a lot of luck in pursuing your own Ragan/Reagan!!! Please feel free to forward this message to anyone whom can share on this Rezin Ragan/Reagan family. Will close for now. Write when you can. Donald B. Reagan dbrbear1949@comcast.net
Thanks for the e-mail, I'm about 95% sure Rebacca Reagan/Lang/Mallory is my ggg grandmother. My grandmother always said we were related to a high ranking Conf. officer whose uniform was on display in a museum which fits the Postmaster.Prior to Rebecca I would tend to rely on your prior e-mail to me about my lineage Skyler R.
