James, That is *very* interesting. If someone is really interested in this lineage perhaps they could probaably use each one of those lineages for further clues/research/pointers ...etc. It would be nice to discover a link here. I know there's a *lot* of RAGAN/RAGON/REAGAN families from the Tennessee area. And quite a few of our cousins are researching these branches. In fact I'm looking for info on a: William RAGAN/REAGAN, b. ca 1806, TN, m. a Nancy _?_, b. ca 1823. TN. William was a miller living in McMinn Co., TN in 1870. He had at least two children: Mary Jane RAGAN, b. ca 1851, TN., & Labron (or Laborn) R. RAGAN, b. Sep 1861, TN. Labron was buried around here (Caperton Ferry Cem., Stevenson, Jackson Co., AL). his headstone has his name listed as L.R. RAGON, but I know quite a few of his descendants here and they spell it RAGAN. Does anyone have a link to this family?? Pleeeze?? Again I'd like to thank everyone that have made contributions to our RAGAN-ROOTS database. This massive collection of RAGAN info wouldn't be possible withour your help. Also, our discussion group has just passed the 280 member mark! Since I posted the last master GedCom I've had another 100+ persons added to the database. And this evening I received another GedCom (with 147 people in it) to be added. If you'd like your family added please send it as a GedCom. That makes it much easier (and quicker) to get it into the main database. Michael W.
