JoAnn, As for the Reason/Reazin/Rezin question, I'm not sure what to think except that there seems to be several Reason RAGANs scattered through some of our lineages. I suppose we can make a guess that they could've been related to one another. For a long time I was assuming that the Reason name may have come from a maiden name back somewhere in their family. But I recently read in the Bible that there was a King Reason/Rezin. So we might assume that's where the name came from originally. Then perhaps it was passed down to some descendants. My 2g-grandfather was Isaiah RAGAN and I've always assumed that his parents got it from the Profit Isaiah in the Bible. Who knows though ... we might never be certain about some things. As for your comment about Johanna BURNS/REAGAN, I think that's exciting! The person who submitted info on that family (in Sep 1998) was: [email protected] (Marjorie Grebner Welsch). I'll send her (and the group) a copy of this email. She and/or some of our other cousins may be interested in getting that photo from you (or at least a copy of it). On several occasioins I've had people bring snapshots of relatives in their coffins to our studio to have copies made. I always thought it was a bit morbid, but I think if that was an ancestor of mine I would be very interested in getting a copy of it. Michael W.
