Transfering Genealogical information via GedComs should work across platforms (PC->Mac, Mac->PC) and from one software type to another. As I understand it, in some cases there may be some info lost, but not much. Perhaps some notes may get lost in the transfer. I use a Mac with Reunion software and have been *very* pleased with both. I bought FTM (v 1.0) several years ago, but never really liked it. The only reason I keep it is for access to their CD-ROM info. Michael W.
