Just one more thing to make our searches difficult! >Linda Linda, It does make it a bit difficult, true, but it makes it interesting too. I wonder how many different ways there are to spell our name. Over the years I've seen the following (anyone have any others?): RAGAIN RAGAN RAGIN RAYGAN RAYGAIN REAGAN REAGIN REGAN REGEN RIAGAN RIAGAIN RIGAN RIGGAN RIGGIN RIGGINS RAGON RIGGEN O'RAGAN O'RAGAIN O'REAGAN O'REGAN O'REGANE O'RIAGAN O'RIAGAIN O'RIEGAINE I thought what Fred Hagan said was funny (about one of his relatives changing the spelling of his name from RAGAN to REAGAN around the turn of the century because he did not want to be associated with a "Ragan down the street that was not of a good reputation"). I wonder if that was one of my elusive relatives ??? ;-) Of course, as we all know, the change most likely came from census takers (or others) interviewing people who were not educated and didn't know the right way to spell their own names. Well my Jury Duty is finished! Finally! We found the defendant 'not guilty' today. I felt good about that. The other side just didn't have enough evidence to convince us he was guilty. So tomorrow it's back to work. Good Night Y'all! Michael W.
