I am searching for information on my great great grandfather's parents. His name was James Oscar Ragan b. May 17, 1865, in GA d. Feb. 11 1898 Cairo, GA, he is buried in the Wilder Cemetery in Grady Co. along with 3 of his infant children. He married Bettie O. NeSmith of Mitchell Co., GA. I believe his parents may have been Joseph D. Ragan and Melvina Keaton married 29 May 1864 in Decatur, GA. Does this family appear in your Ragan data base or does anyone have the census of 1870 or 1880 for Mitchell, Grady, Thomas or Decatur Counties in GA? I am hoping to find James O.
