Before I decide to buy the Ragan book, is there mention of a Joseph D. Ragan b. abt 1840 Alabama? I am not sure of when he migrated to SW Georgia, married Melvin Keaton in 1864 in Decatur County, GA, had at least 2 children Elizabeth b abt. 1864 and James Oscar born 1865.
