Linda, My James Oscar Ragan is the one on page 3 of the Ragan and Ragans Book. I did verify his parents just today through 1870 Mitchell Co. GA census. They were Joseph D. Ragan b. AL and Melvina Keaton b. GA. I am new to the list and not familiar with this book is it still in print and available for purchase? Does it say any more about him? Where might I obtain this book?
