I rcvd the following msg from: [email protected] According to "Randolph County, Georgia, Vol.II" published by the Randolph County Historical Society, 1999, Wike Ivey (father of Martha Ivey, who married Jarrett Ragan)was b. 1801 Southampton Co., VA, d. 29 May 1864, m. 14 Nov. 1822 in Columbia Co., GA to Sarah Adams b. 1806, d. 28 Nov 1881. Wike Ivey is an ancestor of mine, and I am trying to get information on his parents. He is reported to be the son of Adam Ivey and Mary (Molly) Adams and a descendant of Adam Ivey of Charles City (later Prince George Co.), VA but I can find no clear link. This information is from the same book and was furnished by Marilyn Middleton Ragan and Ida Marcia Middleton Ragan in 1996. I would like to get in touch with them or any other Ragan who now may know more about Wike Ivey. Thank you. Velma Beale
