Hello, My name is Karen Ragan Davis and I am continuing research in the Ragan family that was started by Jonathan Ragan my nephew. My Great,Great, Great Grandfather was Lewis Ragan who was born in 1789 in Person Co., NC and died in December 1849 in Obien County, TN. I would like to find out where this group of Ragan's originated from - was it Ireland - if so, when did they come to the states and who was it that did come.
