Ragan Roots: RE: SARAH REAGON b. 1770 m. 1795 died abt. 1850 Ohio I am likewise new to the list. I have identified a Sarah Reagon who married a William Spillers in abt. 1795 in Newberry County, S.C.. They appear to have been Quakers and moved to Newberry Township, Miami County, Ohio or neighboring Darke County, in about 1808 to 1812. My records indicate that Sarah Reagon, or Ragin, or some other spelling died in abt. 1850 in Ohio. There son, Julius Spillers married a Susannah Coate, also a Quaker. I understand there were Ragons, Ragins, or Reagons who were Irish Quakers who migrated to colonies. Is this a possibility for the as yet, unknown parents of Sarah Reagon believed to have been born in abt. 1779? Gordon G. Bones
