I would love to find any descendants of JOHN GODBY RAGAN and NANCY A. COFFEY. John was born on October 25, 1853 in Pulaski County, Ky. and died on April 20, 1938 in Portsmouth, Ohio. He was the son of the Rev. Galen G. Ragan and Susannah Godbey. John married Nancy Coffey on July 14, 1878 in Highland County, Ky. Nancy was born on October 2, 1857 in Stanford, Lincoln County, Ky., and died on October 10, 1928 in Wheelersburg, Ohio. John and Nancy had the following 7 children: 1. Oliver G. Ragan - born Sept. 3, 1879, Lincoln County, Ky. died 1935. He married Lenna Lee. 2. Minnie Pearl Ragan - born January 26, 1881, Pulaski County, Ky. died January 21, 1961, in Springfield, Ohio. She married 1) Fred Schwader 2) William Silas Abshear 3. Myrtle Ragan - born August 11, 1882, Washington County, Ky. died Sept. 6, 1971 in Urbana, Ohio. She married Danny Haggard. 4. Rev. William H. Ragan - born March 29, 1884, Washington County, Ky. died December 23, 1959, Knoxville, Tennessee. He married Bess ? 5. Susan Nell Ragan - born August 12, 1889, Carter County, Ky. died August 2, 1970 in Wheelersburg, Ohio. She married 1) ? Van Winkle 2) St. Clair Jones 6. James G. Ragan - born October 24, 1892, Knox County, Ky. died January 11, 1953. He married Bess Plummer. 7. Welby L. Ragan - born April 22, 1895, Grant County, Ky died January 9, 1960 in Springfield, Ohio. He married 1) Gertrude Hannah Morton 2) He married Ruby LeMaster. I am descended from Susan Nell Ragan & St. Clair Jones.
