Hello again everyone. Last night I sent you all (around here we say Y'all ;-) an announcement about my acceptance into the SAR. And I gave you a listing of my ancestors back to my Revolutionary soldier, Lt. Samuel LEEPER. Well guess what ... I made a mistake. I spelled my father and grandgfather's name wrong :-( I spelled their names 'Hibert' and it should've been 'Hubert'. It was a typo [sheepish grin]. Well the 'I' and the 'U' _are_ next to each other on the keyboard. And the way my eyesight has been acting up the past couple days it should be understandable. This evening my wife and I were at a surprise party for our son's 18th birthday and dad was there and pointed it out to me (sorry daddy ;-). (It's funny none of my siblings called it to my attention.) Dad did say that Jeff called him today and mentioned it (Jeff you squealer ... tattle tale :). So here it is again, with everything spelled right (I hope). My SAR lineage: Michael William RAGAN (b. 29 Dec 1946) | Hubert Lasson RAGAN Jr. (b. 1 Jan 1924) | Hubert Lasson RAGAN Sr. (2 Jun 1897 - 8 Jan 1969) | William Henry RAGAN (3 Nov 1871 - 20 Apr 1937) | Isaiah RAGAN (14 May 1842 - 29 Jul 1877) | William RAGAN (ca 1795 - bef 24 Jun 1880) (William RAGAN married Mary LEEPER ca 1825) | Mary LEEPER (ca 1806 - aft 24 Jun 1880) | Alexander LEEPER (1775 - 1858) | Lt. Samuel LEEPER (ca 1747 - Aug 1805) And that's it! Thanks for putting up with me Y'all! (And thanks to all of you who sent me their congratulations.) Happy ancestor huntin' Y'all! Michael W.
