Hi everyone!! Am hoping someone has Ragon/Ragan's in the state of Arkansas!! I am searching for info on my gg-grandmother, Jane Ragon. The only info I have is an approximate birth year as 1854. She married Samuel Brown June 6, 1862 in Johnson County Arkansas. Jane and Samuel had two daughters, Mary and Chrstine (my g-grandmother). Christine's death certificate lists her mother as Jane Ragon. Other sources have indicated Jane was born in Mississippi. There is an Eli Ragon family in the 1860 Johnson Co census, but no Jane. Does anyone out there have a Jane?? In the 1870 census for the Brown family, she is not there. Family word was that Mary and Christine were raised by their grandparents. I don't know if Jane died or left. Any help would be most appreciated. Thanks so much. Sherri Musselman
