This is only speculation re: the Rgn's of Surry associated with Thompsons. 1721/22 Francis could be Francis-2 (Daniel-1) or Francis-3 (s/o Francis-2) 1731 Jane & Mary Rgn could be daughters of Francis-2 (Daniel-1) 1748 John Sr /b. by 1706 is likely the f/o John Jr /b. by 1727 perhaps md to Ann Bell? But who is Joseph Rgn? Could he be the Joseph with wife Mary later in Bute NC? Could he be a brother of John Sr? Francis-3 had a son Joseph-4/possible wife Mary. Could Francis-3 also had sons John Sr-4 & the William-4 "of Surry" who was in Bute NC? JW Garrett
