When are you folks going to get to the John, Sr., and John, Jr. who were in Granville. Orange, Caswell co., NC. in the last 1700's. these are probably the grandfather and father of Nathan, Jesse and Owen Ragan. J.H. You show us yours and....seriously, give us refs to the 2 Johns... we keep finding new stuff....this whole thread started with John/Bell, Francis Sr/Pegram, and William Powell/Priscilla All in NC...as in "who's your daddy". Warren/Bute much of which devolves into Orange etc is exactly our focus... we are running a timeline forward instead of the usual backwards. -----Original Message----- From: ragan-roots-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:ragan-roots-bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of slpstk@eplus.net Sent: Tuesday, January 11, 2011 2:33 PM To: ragan-roots@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [RAGAN-ROOTS] Maryellen When are you folks going to get to the John, Sr., and John, Jr. who were in Granville. I just noticed your message. My grandfather was Charley Ragan, his father Owen Ragan, his father Nathan Ragan, his father Owen Ragon. They are all buried here in Mercer County MO. I don't have much on old Owen Ragon other than possibly a wife Nancy in Crab Orchard KY and a sister married to a Davis. I have all the kids of Nathan, Owen no.2, and Charley... almost 5,000 of them. I, too, would love to go back further.
