    1. [RAGAN-ROOTS] John Rgn's

    3. Yes there was 2 John Rgn's in 1755 Granville NC One John was with Frances. This John is the one that md Ann Bell The other John Rgn I have not yet identified. Do you think this is John Rgn (Sr) who later has the son John Jr? 1769 Bute NC there was a James and a John, but I was not aware of a William Rgn. This must be Wm Powell Rgn-3 (Wm-2, James-1) or Wm Rgn of Surry VA. I question if this James & John are the sons of Charles-2, James-1. They later appear in Rowan, Guilford, and Rockingham. But there is a John in 1769 & 1770 Rowan/Guilford who I think is John-3 (s/o Charles-2, James-1) So who is the John....John/Ann Bell or John/Mary LNU? Who is the James? He is in 1766 Bute. He cant be the James b. 1748 md to Sarah Gilliam. The James in 1766 Bute was likely born by 1745.
