1784 Tax List, Nash Dist., St James Dist , Caswell Co., NC Ragon, Jesse 100ac Bluewing Creek 1 - 0 Ragon, Owen 150 Bluewing Creek 1 - 0 Ragon, Nathan 150 Mayo Creek 1 - 0 Ragon, John 0 - 1 - 0 Taxlist 1794 Nash Dist.: Ragoon, Jesay 350 Ac. 1 WP Ragoon, John 0 1 WP Ragoon, Nathan 166.5 Ac. 1 WP I have not found a John Rgn. in any of the tax lists or censusfjor Caswell Co., between 1784 and 1794. Since there is only one John Rgn. listed in the 1784 tax list, this is probably John, Jr. and is the father of Nathan, Jesse and Owen, which would indicate that John, Sr., died 1771-1784. The John Rgn. listed in the 1794 tax list could be the son of Nathan Rgn. and husband of Patsey Rgn. listed one place down from Nathan Rgn. in the 1800 Census of Person Co., and who with her new husbasnd, William Jones, accompained Nathan to Dickson Co., TN area.in ca 1805.
