This leads me to your James. Your James was born aprox 1786. He married Debby Benton B-aprox 1792--they married in estill county, Kentuckty on 2 Feb.1807. Debbys parents were Richard Benton and Winifred (hopper) Benton. James moved to Johson county, Indiana around 1826. Debby may not have gone???They had 1 son for sureand maybe more. the one son's name is Hiram Quick B-14 Feb.1812 in Kentucky. He died 2 Aug. 1902 in Boone county, Indianna. He married Mahala Baker B-1818 D-1869 on 22 March 1835. It was recorded in Bartholomew county, Ind. but may have taken place in Johnson county, Ind. It is believed that your James parents are Tunis and Mary (polly )Quick. Tunis & Mary moved from Rowan county<N. C. to Madison county,KY.(later to be subdivided into Estill county) before 1797
