I may have that information in my records, but will have to look it up. Which Quicks are you wanting? Our Quicks spread all over MO. Most of mine( in my grandpa's generation) went to Franklin County and stayed there. My great-grandpa was a minister and pastored churches all over Mo, beginning with his first pastorate in his hometown of St. Aubert, but retired in Franklin County, where he had pastored his last church for many years. I have been to St. Auburt, but believe me, it would be hard to find if you have never been. It is just a little bitty place, only 4 or 5 houses left and the old church is next to the cemetery. The church is now owned by a farmer and used for storage. You have to drive off of a little 2 lane highway and onto a gravel road to drive down into the "town". There is a little lane ( off of the old, graveled main street)that goes up a hill to the church and the lane ends at the cemetery. Some of my great-grandpa's siblings stayed in St. Aubert and in ! Chamois. Some are buried in St. Auburt and I have visited their graves. My mom was born in Union and grew up in the Union/St. Clair/ Sullivan area. ( her mom was born and raised in Sullivan, Her dad- my grandpa Quick, was born in St. Aubert, but moved to St. Clair at age 5 and grew up there,. When they married they moved to Union and mostly lived there, but occasionally in Sullivan.) I live in Oklahoma. My grandpa was sent to the AFB here, when my mom was a teenager.
