I also have been on-line with a couple of other cousins. Mom and I were in Cheraw not long ago and we are trying to organize a family reunion. I am at work right now but I will check my database when I get home and see what I can find for you. By the way the indian blood is there, Grandma was obviously not white skinned, mama always claimed to by 1/2 but in the east that is very unlikely. Maybe 1/3rd. I hope to do the dna test before the summer is out and find out for sure. The indian gene is passed by the females. My blood may have come from the Rainwater line......................... Lisa

He was raised by Lena and Tom Reese. His other siblings were placed in other family member homes when their parents died. Except for Preston who was very young. He was put in an orphnage. We were always told we were of Indian Decent and I would like to find out something about his family. I have a brother, Travis Quick and a sister Shirley Q. Fleetwood. At one time they got information from someone who was trying to find family members. They don't remember who it came from. I would like to get in touch with someone who knew my dads family. Thanks Janet Wertel

However, this might have involved John Alexander's father Cornelius and not John Alexander's children. In any case, it is also an interesting line to follow. Which Indian tribe was Joseph an apparent member of and where in the world did you hear such an interesting story?
